IMPROVEL ® kappa is a linear C16 ASA used for wet end sizing. Improvel Kappa is emulsified in the
paper mill. This is done either with IMPROVEL ® delta or cationic starch using Sellukem emulsifier
unit S.E.16/18.
KEMSIZE ® 200 is a linear C18 ASA used for wet end sizing. KEMSIZE ® 200 is emulsified in the paper mill. This is done with starch and Sellukem emulsifier unit S.E.16. KEMSIZE ® 200 is used for high speed paper machines operating at high dryer temperatures.
Polyvinylamine dispersed in water, Stabilizing agent, IMPROVEL ® delta is a cationic stabilizing agent for emulsification of IMPROVEL ® kappa with emulsifier unit S.E.18.
IMPROVEL ® beta is a branched C16/18 ASA used for wet end sizing. IMPROVEL ® beta is for customers owning their own emulsifying equipment.
